QUESTION Where are you located at the Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport?
ANSWER We are located lower level curbside. We have a desk at each terminal. When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, curbside, and contact one of our starters (customer service reps) who will be wearing a white shirt with “GO AIRPORT SHUTTLE” in green on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know your destination and which service you are interested in and he will assist you.
QUESTION How long is the drive time to get to Miami International Airport or the Port of Miami from Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport.
ANSWER Drive time is approximately 45 minutes under normal circumstances. Traffic or construction can add to this time. If you are using our shared ride service, you should allow for 90 minutes from the time you leave the airport.
QUESTION How long does it take to get in a vehicle?
ANSWER Maximum wait is 30 minutes for shared ride service. Most shuttles leave within ten minutes. Express service is available immediately.
QUESTION Can I take a pet in a shared ride vehicle?
ANSWER In consideration of the other passengers, it is our policy to only allow service animals in shared ride vehicles. You can, however, take your pet using our private car service.
QUESTION I am arriving at Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport and I am going to Miami Airport or Port of Miami. How do I make arrangements for my return to Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International airport?
ANSWER Miami Airport and Seaport pick-ups require pre-payment. If you require a pick-up at the Miami Airport or Seaport, you can make your reservation online at www.go-airportshuttle.com or print out the credit card contract from the home page link, complete it and fax it back to 954-565-7054.
QUESTION What is the car seat requirement for children?
ANSWER Florida State Law requires that while transporting a child 5 years of age or younger, the child must be protected by the use of a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device which must be provided by parent or guardian.
QUESTION Do you provide car seats?
ANSWER GO Airport Shuttle does not provide car seats, but you are most welcome to bring yours for use in our vehicles.
QUESTION Where can I get your service at Port Everglades?
ANSWER If you pre-arrange pick-up, we will meet you at your arrival terminal with a sign. In most cases, the best thing to do is to call our reservation # (954) 561-8888 after you have disembarked and gathered your luggage. Our vehicles are based in the Ft. Lauderdale airport, which is very close to Port Everglades.
QUESTION Until what time do you provide shared ride service?
ANSWER We provide shared ride, private car and van service for all incoming and outbound flights scheduled at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
QUESTION When can I call to make reservations – how far in advance?
ANSWER Shared ride reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance, but not more than one week due to flight cancellations and change in schedules. You can phone your reservations in as far as 45 days in advance. Web reservations can be made up to six (6) months in advance of your travel date.
QUESTION Why is my pick up time so much earlier than my flight time when I use the shared ride service?
ANSWER The pick ups are scheduled to allow for other shared ride passengers and travel time. This assures that everyone arrives at the airport in plenty of time.
QUESTION What is your cancellation policy?
ANSWER Reservations MUST be cancelled at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time to qualify for refund.
