What airports and seaports do you service?
We can provide transportation to/from all airports and seaports in South Florida. However, our shared ride shuttle service is only offered at Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades.
How far in advance do I need to make reservations for service?
If booking by phone, shared ride service MUST be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. For private vehicle service, please call at least 2 hours in advance. If booking online, all reservations MUST be made by 11:30 AM for next day service. Web reservations can be made up to six (6) months in advance of your travel date.
Why is my pick up time so much earlier than my flight time when I use the shared ride service?
The pick ups are scheduled to allow for other shared ride passengers and travel time. This assures that everyone arrives at the airport in plenty of time.
When can I expect my driver to arrive on the day of scheduled service?
Pickup times will vary, so please allow a 30 minute window for your driver to arrive (15 minutes before and 15 minutes after your scheduled pick up time). For example, if your pickup time is 9:00 am, your vehicle may arrive between 8:45 AM and 9:15 AM. Please make sure that you are ready and waiting outside where the driver can see you when they pull up.
How long will the driver wait for me at my pick up location?
Our shared ride shuttles operate on a tight schedule, so our drivers cannot wait for those who are running behind. Please make sure you are ready to go at the beginning of your 30 minute pick up window.
Will the driver notify me when they arrive at my pick up location?
No, not necessarily. Passengers are required to be standing outside or where they can see our vehicle when it arrives. Nevertheless, please make sure you have provided us with your cell phone number and are available to take a call in the event we need to reach you.
Do I need to make advanced reservations for transportation service from the Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport to my destination?
No. We offer a walk-up service at FLL airport, so no advanced reservations are required. Once you have collected your bags, just see a GO Airport Shuttle agent and they will arrange service for you.
Where are you located at the Ft. Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport?
We are located in every terminal at FLL airport. In terminals 1, 2 and 4, proceed to the lower level, baggage claim area and look for the “Ground Transportation Information” desk. This is where you will find a GO Airport Shuttle agent wearing a green jacket with our logo. You will also find another GO Airport Shuttle agent located at our curbside kiosk, outside of baggage claim. He will be wearing a white shirt with our logo. Either location can assist you with transportation. In terminal 3, proceed directly to our curbside kiosk, located on the lower level outside of baggage claim.
What type of transportation service is offered at the Ft. Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport?
We offer shared ride shuttle service starting at $11 (per person), depending on your final destination. We offer private car/SUV/van service at a flat rate per vehicle. Pricing depends on your final destination. We also offer a meet and greet service, however this would need to be arranged by phone or online, in advance.
How long is the wait for service at Ft. Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport?
Once you have checked in with a GO Airport Shuttle agent, your wait should be no more than 30 minutes for shared ride service. Most shuttles leave within ten minutes. Express service in one of our private vehicles is available immediately.
What are your hours of operation at Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport.?
We provide service to accommodate all incoming and outbound flights.
I am arriving at Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport and I am going to Miami Airport or Port of Miami. How do I make arrangements for my return to Ft. Lauderdale – Hollywood International airport?
Miami Airport and Seaport pick-ups require pre-payment. If you require a pick-up at the Miami Airport or Seaport, you can make your reservation online at www.go-airportshuttle.com or print out the credit card contract from the home page link, complete it and fax it back to 954-565-7054.
How long will it take to get from Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport to Miami International Airport or the Port of Miami?
Drive time is approximately 45 minutes under normal circumstances. Traffic or construction can add to this time. If you are using our shared ride service, you should allow for 90 minutes from the time you leave the airport.
Where can I get your service at Port Everglades?
If you pre-arrange pick-up, we will meet you at your arrival terminal with a sign. In most cases, the best thing to do is to call our reservation # (954) 561-8888 after you have disembarked and gathered your luggage. Our vehicles are based in the Ft. Lauderdale airport, which is very close to Port Everglades.
Can I take a pet in a shared ride vehicle?
In consideration of the other passengers, it is our policy to only allow service animals in shared ride vehicles. You can, however, take your pet using our private car service.
What is the car seat requirement for children?
Florida State Law requires that while transporting a child 5 years of age or younger, the child must be protected by the use of a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device which must be provided by parent or guardian.
Do you provide car seats?
GO Airport Shuttle does not provide car seats, so you must provide your own when traveling with any children, ages 5 and under.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations MUST be cancelled at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time to qualify for refund.
What is your policy for items lost in your vehicles?
As with any other form of public transportation, we are not responsible for articles left behind, but we do make every effort to return what we find. Please call or email us immediately when you realize an item is missing. We will need detailed description of the item lost along with date, time and location of service, vehicle number and reservation number, if available.
