This is the Saturday before Saint Patrick’s Day, but you can’t miss it! On this day, downtown Fort Lauderdale will be holding its’ annual Saint Patrick’s Parade and Festival. The event starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. on Andrews Avenue in the Huizenga Plaza where there will be crowds of people wearing their green and drinking their beer (which might also be green). For Thursday, March 17th - St. Patrick's Day!

On Thursday, the official Saint Patrick’s Day, show your Irish-American pride by wearing green (if you don’t, I must forewarn you – you may get pinched out of tradition). A great place to grab a beer for yourself and your friends is The Field Irish Pub & Eatery on 3281 Griffin Road. This place is decorated with an authentic pub-style indoor, the list of beers is endless and when the weather is right, you can’t go wrong with sitting on the offered outdoors patio. Once you’ve had a few round of beers, the authentic food and live Irish music will keep you here longer. If you’re still feeling lucky, you can always end your night in the Hard Rock Casino. Whatever your plans are for Saint Patrick’s Day don’t forget to wear green for luck, have fun and stay safe!
